Foxtide
Foxtide rolled into Houston on Monday night at White Oak Music Hall. The sold-out room filled early, and conversations before the lights went down made it clear that people weren’t just there for headliner Arcy Drive. A significant part of the crowd was just as eager for Foxtide, and the energy reflected that.
From the first song, the connection between the band and the audience was locked in. Fans knew the words, sang them loudly, and kept the intensity high from start to finish. The band fed off it, playing with precision but also with a looseness that comes from a room giving back everything you put into it. Crowd interactions felt natural. A back-and-forth exchange that made the set feel bigger than an opening slot.
When the 30-minute set came to a close, the audience wasn’t ready to let it end. The demand for an encore was immediate, and Foxtide responded without hesitation. The reaction was loud and genuine, showing that the fans weren’t just there early to secure a good spot in the crowd for Arcy Drive, they were invested.
Seeing an opener return for an encore isn’t common, but the response made it clear that they earned it.
That momentum carried into Arcy Drive’s set.
By the final song of the night, when Arcy Drive invited Foxtide back onstage, the collaboration felt like a natural extension of the night’s energy. Both bands and their fans came together in a way that seemed right, given the enthusiasm earlier in the night.
Foxtide’s show in Houston proved that their following is strong and growing, and that they can turn an opener slot into a moment that feels like a headline set. For anyone scanning tour dates, both Foxtide and their fans make heading to a show worth it.
